Leonel Ieltxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Hugo Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Mino in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Gatti saved SPEGACHO FC from getting behind. Hugo Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Santiago Mino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SPEGACHO FC's Hugo Gatti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Palermo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carolo Rozarius in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Itzaina to maneuver through the defense. Babu Bronco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Joey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Palermo's Alfredo Joey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Palermo from getting a goal against them. If Babu Bronco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Gatti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Mino's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Ieltxu in the 41st minute of play forced SPEGACHO FC's goalkeeper Hugo Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Palermo's zone, Babu Bronco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Joey came out of the goal and Babu Bronco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, SPEGACHO FC's Paul Şerbănoiu got a free kick in the 45th minute. Alfredo Joey made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Babu Bronco sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Mino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Carolo Rozarius fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Carolo Rozarius a yellow card for diving instead. Babu Bronco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Isaac Montrel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Leonel Ieltxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Gatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Mino in the 68th minute. A hard shot 69 in the game by Santiago Mino from a close distance when the talented Hugo Gatti managed to make a qualified save. SPEGACHO FC's players were relieved. When Isaac Montrel came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the SPEGACHO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Montrel couldn't finish the play. Santiago Mino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Hugo Gatti made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Montrel in the 73rd minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Ieltxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Gatti having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Santiago Mino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Gatti was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 88th minute of the match, Carolo Rozarius got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Gatti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 90th minute Babu Bronco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Babu Bronco scored 2-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Joey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Palermo's Marcelino Chaime was substituted for Carolo Rozarius. Palermo made a substitution. Ramon Kismi replaced Alfons Hellström. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palermo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SPEGACHO FC.
