The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ceferino Balasi sped through Cieneguita AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruperto Quintan. In the 13th minute, Emilio Regis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Cieneguita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Regis came free, but Ruperto Quintan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Balasi in the 14th minute of play forced Cieneguita AFC's goalkeeper Ruperto Quintan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Cieneguita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Regis came free, but Ruperto Quintan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicão Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blas-Armando Giunta in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loco De la Maza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Cunha. Loco De la Maza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleiton Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco De la Maza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas-Armando Giunta in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas-Armando Giunta got free with Loco De la Maza in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Cieneguita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Regis came free, but Ruperto Quintan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Cieneguita AFC booed when LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Bidun didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ceferino Balasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas-Armando Giunta in the 55th minute of play forced LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Cieneguita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Gomesano. Ruperto Quintan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Regis in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas-Armando Giunta in the 59th minute of play forced LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loukianos Lazarakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ruperto Quintan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Ceferino Balasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Quintan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Quintan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Regis in the 70th minute of play. If Humberto Gomesano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Olentzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's Ceferino Balasi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cieneguita AFC. After 95 minutes, Blas-Armando Giunta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cieneguita AFC and the LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
