Carolo Rozarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Fabian Abeijon made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Bonifaco came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palermo's Bernardino Rameriz was substituted for Maximino Gonzalez. In the 94th minute of the match CLUB GARABATTO AZ got a corner. Palermo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niceto Theodore ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CLUB GARABATTO AZ's Niceto Theodore to fire away a dangerous shot which Alfredo Joey despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Palermo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
