Generoso Matai hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Maria came free, but Eustaquio Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Lucero made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Raimundo Rojelio sent off a good shot on target. Eustaquio Javiar came out of the goal and Arsenio Maria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Ramon Urtats got a free kick in the 57th minute. Eustaquio Javiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsenio Maria in the 61st minute. Ciro Bazkoare got in the 62nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Joaquin Lucero handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arsenio Maria in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustaquio Javiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute of the match, Arsenio Maria tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eustaquio Javiar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boca Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haimar Burualla was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A.MALVINAS.ARG's players had a chance to rest. C.A.MALVINAS.ARG's Joaquin Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Dino in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Arsenio Maria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustaquio Javiar. C.A.MALVINAS.ARG's Haimar Burualla got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Eustaquio Javiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eustaquio Javiar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Joaquin Lucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Rojelio in the 88th minute of play.
