Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Vellito in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Lucero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.A.MALVINAS.ARG's Joaquin Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Pierres in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, C.A.MALVINAS.ARG's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Jerardo came free, but Joaquin Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Jerardo scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Lucero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yuriy Babushkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Matai in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Maria in the 75th minute of play forced Deportivo Messina's goalkeeper Yuriy Babushkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hector Jerardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Lucero. That made the score 2-3 in the 92 minute of play. Hector Jerardo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 96th playminute. The C.A.MALVINAS.ARG supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo Messina's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo Messina.
