With a little luck, Guansa's Alfonso Lauro got control of the ball when Markus Gudmundsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boruc Bucyki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Elequemedo in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Guansa's Bartolo Ugaitz got a free kick in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orla Bernskjold got free with Alfonso Lauro in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albino Elequemedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th match minute, Batavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Soter to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orla Bernskjold got free with Alfonso Lauro in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Batavia's Markus Gudmundsson got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 23 minutes Guansa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mateo Emenon who took care of the corner kick. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guansa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mateo Emenon was slow to take the kick. During this time Batavia's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Batavia's Mateo Emenon to fire away a dangerous shot which Alfonso Lauro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Albino Elequemedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boruc Bucyki was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 30th match minute, Batavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Naelio to maneuver through the defense. If Albino Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batavia were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Guansa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mateo Emenon took the corner. Mateo Emenon made a great header on Batavia's corner, it was just that Guansa's Alfonso Lauro managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 40th minute, Vladimiro Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Miguel Montrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boruc Bucyki was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Markus Gudmundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Lauro having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Batavia's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Elequemedo came free, but Boruc Bucyki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

54 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Wlodyga came free, but Alfonso Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albino Elequemedo in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boruc Bucyki saved Batavia from getting behind. Alfonso Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orla Bernskjold, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th match minute, Guansa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Todor to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Emenon in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute Markus Gudmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Markus Gudmundsson came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Batavia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Gudmundsson couldn't finish the play. In the 80thth minute of the game Albino Elequemedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batavia's Boruc Bucyki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Izel in the 85th minute of play forced Batavia's goalkeeper Boruc Bucyki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Manni. Rigoberto Naelio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
