Guansa's Alfonso Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Şunda in the 23rd minute of play. Luciano Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Izel in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Jorge Francesco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guansa and the C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL players grew even worse after the yellow card. C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL's Florencio Montxo was substituted for Lisandro Sesuldo. The supporters of C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Todor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Amor made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Jorge Francesco sent off a good shot on target. Fidel Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Niceto Izel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luciano Amor. That made the score 0-1 in the 70 minute of play. C. Fidel Gaufred might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luciano Amor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
