A sloppy throw-in by Fermin Pereyra in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gallo Moron's Ignacio Valiente. Ignacio Valiente got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ernesto Farias. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Txomin in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kyrre Vedå saved Campbell from getting behind. Fermin Pereyra made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gallo Moron's Ignacio Valiente. Kyrre Vedå made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cheche Troche in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Txomin in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kyrre Vedå saved Campbell from getting behind. Felix Gaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eugenio Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Gaur in the 31st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Txomin to make the kick off. Eugenio Fidensio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Fidensio came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Campbell's Severo Vedillo. But to his dismay, Severo Vedillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eugenio Fidensio made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Felix Gaur sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Gallo Moron's Eugenio Fidensio got control of the ball when Felix Gaur tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Campbell's Felix Gaur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Campbell made a substitution. Domingos Gabino replaced Felix Gaur. Campbell's Arturo Martino was substituted for Guillermo Barros Schelotto. Fermin Pereyra got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Severo Vedillo. 69 minutes into the match, Gallo Moron's Cheche Troche sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kyrre Vedå narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kyrre Vedå showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Txomin in the 75th minute of the match. Severo Vedillo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Severo Vedillo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gallo Moron's Eugenio Fidensio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Gallo Moron from getting a goal against them. Domingos Gabino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Eugenio Fidensio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Gallo Moron booed when Campbell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Beturian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Campbell played a much better game than Gallo Moron and deserved their victory. The Gallo Moron players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
