After a defensive mix-up in Malvinas Argentinas's zone, Cirilo Arlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Baristo came out of the goal and Cirilo Arlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Baristo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohieddine Ayari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohieddine Ayari in the 40th minute of play forced Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Ermegildo Baristo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB played a much better game than Malvinas Argentinas and deserved their victory. The Malvinas Argentinas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
