Spectators: 7805 (Terracing: 5855, Seating: 1795, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Segundo Sadurni got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Sadurni in the 12th minute of play forced Joy Division Athletic's goalkeeper Honorato Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Brian Diallo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Humos del Cairo FC's Bernardo Amorim. Bernardo Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute Brian Diallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Marz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Segundo Sadurni went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, Joy Division Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Ferrer came free, but Honorato Marz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Joy Division Athletic's goalkeeper Honorato Marz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Diallo in the 40th minute of play. Honorato Marz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Sadurni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Brian Diallo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardo Amorim. Brian Diallo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. With a little luck, Humos del Cairo FC's Bernardo Amorim got control of the ball when Brian Diallo tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Domeka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Arce in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Humos del Cairo FC were awarded a corner. Leonel Pirmin went to the cornerflag to take it. Bernardo Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Diallo in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Edgardo Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Amorim came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Joy Division Athletic's Edgardo Arce. But to his dismay, Edgardo Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Bernardo Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Domeka in the 65th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Seber during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Joy Division Athletic getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Leon Seber hit a great ball. Honorato Marz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Unax, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Humos del Cairo FC's German Unax in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joy Division Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. Benicio Ugutz hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Honorato Marz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of German Unax's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Humos del Cairo FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
