Marcelo Silban came out of the goal and Vinicio Paulin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Maureo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Saverio Vedillo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Marcelo Silban to make any attempt to save it. When David Laurentzi came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the San Antonio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Laurentzi couldn't finish the play. Abel Olivar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelo Silban came out and tried to block the shot, but Abel Olivar slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 21st minute. A hard shot 24 in the game by David Laurentzi from a close distance when the talented Marcelo Silban managed to make a qualified save. Gerli Vikings's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Feliberto Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Antonio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliberto Deunoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Silban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Santos Sidro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelo Silban. That made the score 5-0 in the 28 minute of play. Gerli Vikings's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Saverio Vedillo scored to the left of an out of position Marcelo Silban, making the score, 6-0. 35 minutes into the game, Abel Olivar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Marcelo Silban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute, Saverio Vedillo made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Silban. Gerli Vikings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evaristo Joseph to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Silban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Deunoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
