Spectators: 7777 (Terracing: 5833, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teddi Gaafar started the match with the kick off. Maracanaso F.C's Enrique Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Diallo in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the game, Edgardo Arce landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michal Domaradzki during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Maracanaso F.C got a freekick which was hit by Michal Domaradzki. Carolo Ekialde struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Enrique Heli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joy Division Athletic. In the 17th minute Teddi Gaafar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Marz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Maracanaso F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Domeka came free, but Enrique Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Rafael Domeka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Heli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Maracanaso F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Domeka came free, but Enrique Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Heli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Diallo in the 25th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Rafael Domeka in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 36th minute Rafael Domeka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Heli came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Joy Division Athletic's Rafael Domeka. But to his dismay, Rafael Domeka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Enrique Heli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Domeka's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Joy Division Athletic were awarded a corner. Carolo Ekialde went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Peter Lajčin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Heli was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Maracanaso F.C defense, Rafael Domeka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Heli. The Maracanaso F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Heli should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Rafael Domeka reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enrique Heli. The goal made the score 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Domeka to make the kick off. Rafael Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Enrique Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Heli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Domeka, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Genaro Aresti fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maracanaso F.C's protests and gave Genaro Aresti a yellow card for diving instead. Genaro Aresti hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match Carolo Ekialde shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Heli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Enrique Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Domeka in the 74th minute of play. Genaro Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Marz having to interfere. The supporters of Maracanaso F.C booed when Joy Division Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Tallia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddi Gaafar in the 84th minute of play forced Joy Division Athletic's goalkeeper Honorato Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Enrique Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Domeka in the 88th minute of play. Enrique Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Seber in the 90th minute of play. Enrique Heli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Lajčin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Joy Division Athletic's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
