Mai Yao Yao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Llin in the 6th minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Leandro Lobo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 14th minute Faustino Llin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mai Yao Yao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mai Yao Yao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Lobo in the 21st minute of the match. Mai Yao Yao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Llin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Javier Beti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Valentin Leguizamón was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Theagenis Papageorgiou in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Lobo to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Llin got free with Mai Yao Yao in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eleuterio Maraman kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Llin got free with Mai Yao Yao in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sp. Mataderos's Valentin Leguizamón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theagenis Papageorgiou in the 80th minute of play. Sp. Mataderos's Aldo Salomone was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mai Yao Yao in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 86th minute of the match Sp. Mataderos got a corner. Fracasados's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anier Barbosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Aldo Salomone managed to volley towards the net. Javier Beti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Leguizamón having to make a save. Fracasados's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
