In the 26th minute, Stefano Hengemühl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Mikelar to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Paul Nanu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Stefano Hengemühl fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Mandiyu's protests and gave Stefano Hengemühl a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Deportivo Mandiyu got a freekick which was hit by Stefano Hengemühl. Eulalio Bastian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Rius in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhu Bin Kun in the 44th minute of play forced San Martìn's goalkeeper Mauricio Sabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Gomez in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhu Bin Kun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Zhu Bin Kun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Martìn's Mauricio Sabino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee ignored Deportivo Mandiyu's protests and gave Bonifacio Mikelar a yellow card for diving instead. Bonifacio Mikelar hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San Martìn had played much better football throughout.
