Resistencia's Gaetano Mathieu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Isidor in the 12th minute of play. Severiano Bernat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Sabin in the 13th minute of the match. After 15 minutes Los Magios's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adrian Aznar who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Adrian Aznar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Magios's Severiano Bernat did a great save. Resistencia's Gaetano Mathieu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Bos in the 17th minute of play. Severiano Bernat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guaberto Urtsua in the 19th minute. A nice corner shot did that Adrian Aznar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Severiano Bernat quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Los Magios's Severiano Bernat got control of the ball when Guaberto Urtsua tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guaberto Urtsua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Guaberto Urtsua reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Severiano Bernat. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dirk Bos in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaetano Mathieu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute Guaberto Urtsua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Bernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Urtsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Bernat having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 54 minutes Los Magios's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adrian Aznar who took care of the corner kick. Noureddine Fillali hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Guaberto Urtsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Dirk Bos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaetano Mathieu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Guaberto Urtsua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Bernat was relentless in the 64th minute of the game.
