If Hector Hug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ARSEFC's Chupan Garcha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Orlicki in the 16th minute of play. Hector Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Tâmbalari having to interfere. If Eugen Bulă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorin Tâmbalari made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Eugen Bulă sent off a good shot on target. ARSEFC's Augusto Rosalio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dorin Tâmbalari in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dorin Tâmbalari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Hug, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Celso Filipo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klement Orlicki to make the kick off.
