In the 9th minute Jacinto Mincho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Abajas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Sindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Alonzo Botello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Galtero having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radamel-Falcao García in the 14th minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Leonides Galtero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Cienaga's Genaro Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Ieltxu in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Radamel-Falcao García cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leonides Galtero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Loco Cabezon's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Botello came free, but Leonides Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of La Cienaga booed when Loco Cabezon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Loco Cabezon's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Botello came free, but Leonides Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the La Cienaga defense, Rogelio Abajas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Sindo. The La Cienaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Sindo should have stopped the shot. Leonides Galtero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Botello in the 35th minute of the match. Amado Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Sindo having to interfere. Rogelio Abajas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Genaro Sindo made a huge save. La Cienaga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rogelio Abajas 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. After 45 played minutes Loco Cabezon got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Atauri. 46 minutes into the match, Loco Cabezon's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel-Falcao García came free, but Leonides Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Radamel-Falcao García almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero did a great save. Leonides Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radamel-Falcao García in the 50th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radamel-Falcao García in the 50th minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Leonides Galtero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Abajas to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Rogelio Abajas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Genaro Sindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amado Sindo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Sindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as La Cienaga's Dario Benedetto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonides Galtero. That made the score 3-2 after 59 minutes of play. Rogelio Abajas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Jacinto Mincho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonides Galtero, 3-3. Rodolfo Ieltxu hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radamel-Falcao García got free with Leonides Galtero in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Loco Cabezon from getting a goal against them. Leonides Galtero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radamel-Falcao García in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Jacinto Mincho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonides Galtero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vinny Turell came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leonides Galtero could save by the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Loco Cabezon's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel-Falcao García came free, but Leonides Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Opilano in the 84th minute of play. If Rogelio Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loco Cabezon's Enrique Cristofor was substituted for Nemesio Opilano. After a rather tough play, Loco Cabezon's Rodolfo Ieltxu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Enrique Cristofor sped through La Cienaga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Genaro Sindo. La Cienaga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
