Doru Popescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. 9 minutes into the match, General Paz Juniors's goalkeeper Vladimiro Estevon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hechter Ledo. Vladimiro Estevon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Oto, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 13th minute, Felix Oto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL CHINGOLO P C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, General Paz Juniors's Epifanio Chabier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Nardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Robustiano Nardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes EL CHINGOLO P C got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Bastiaro. In the 41st minute, Romeo Alfonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL CHINGOLO P C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Chabier was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of General Paz Juniors booed when EL CHINGOLO P C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Bastiaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Estevon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Dubardo in the 57th minute of the match. Prospero Isadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Epifanio Chabier took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Robustiano Nardo to make any attempt to save it. In the 69th minute, Nechifor Hanganu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hechter Ledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Estevon having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Chabier in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Nardo saved EL CHINGOLO P C from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, EL CHINGOLO P C's goalkeeper Robustiano Nardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Epifanio Chabier. Vladimiro Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hechter Ledo in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hechter Ledo in the 97th minute of play forced General Paz Juniors's goalkeeper Vladimiro Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The General Paz Juniors supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing General Paz Juniors would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
