The corner ended in Gregorio Frichoso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La escuelita volvió!'s Lukács Galambos did a great save. In the 13th minute Maracanã Travieso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Noriega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radoslaw Kaluzny came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pastor Noriega could save by the left post. In the 22nd minute Escalada City FC were awarded a corner. Gregorio Frichoso went to the cornerflag to take it. Rosendo Salbatore thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Lukács Galambos, a very annoying self made goal in the 22nd minute which led to 0-1. In the 25th minute Maracanã Travieso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Noriega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Maracanã Travieso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pastor Noriega. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Escalada City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Enekoitz came free, but Pastor Noriega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Radoslaw Kaluzny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marty Norton kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Escalada City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Ponce to maneuver through the defense. Lukács Galambos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Quiroga in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Escalada City FC's Marty Norton got a free kick in the 39th minute. After recieving a nice pass, La escuelita volvió!'s Jaroslaw Pietrowicz tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Qiao Di Jian kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Hernán Abril hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Escalada City FC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Onbera. If Godfredo Pepillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jaroslaw Pietrowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, La escuelita volvió!'s Maracanã Travieso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Noriega narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maracanã Travieso scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pastor Noriega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Maracanã Travieso came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the La escuelita volvió! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maracanã Travieso couldn't finish the play. La escuelita volvió! were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Escalada City FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaroslaw Pietrowicz took the corner. Maracanã Travieso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Noriega having to interfere. La escuelita volvió!'s Lukács Galambos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save La escuelita volvió! from getting a goal against them. Lukács Galambos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Quiroga in the 71st minute of the match. Pastor Noriega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Enekoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La escuelita volvió!'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaroslaw Pietrowicz in the 76th minute. A nice corner shot did that Jaroslaw Pietrowicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pastor Noriega quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Enekoitz in the 84th minute of play forced Escalada City FC's goalkeeper Pastor Noriega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukács Galambos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Quiroga in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Ubaldo Enekoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Celestino Ponce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La escuelita volvió! fully deserved thier win.
