Guy Georges kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Celestino Matei took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Vellito. Marcial Vellito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wayne Rooney in the 23rd minute of play forced LOS GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Virgil Găman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LOS GALACTICOS's Virgil Găman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save LOS GALACTICOS from getting a goal against them. Gaspar Mingo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Virgil Găman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 33 minutes into the game, LOS GALACTICOS's Arthur Debock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Vellito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, Sumampa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Maura came free, but Marcial Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Mingo got free with Virgil Găman in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Guy Georges fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS GALACTICOS's protests and gave Guy Georges a yellow card for diving instead. Guy Georges kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The supporters of LOS GALACTICOS booed when Sumampa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Fabra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute of the match, Guy Georges got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcial Vellito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 54 minutes Sumampa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hernan Rosario who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Hernan Rosario got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcial Vellito quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcial Vellito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roque Chago in the 56th minute. A nice corner shot did that Teobaldo Camerino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Virgil Găman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcial Vellito made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Celestino Matei sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when LOS GALACTICOS's A.J. Adams fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The supporters of Sumampa FC booed when LOS GALACTICOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. LOS GALACTICOS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
