Pastor Noriega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Justin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Aquilino Justin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Pastor Noriega made a huge save. Amado Fagondo got in the 17th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Pastor Noriega handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 17 minutes, Amado Fagondo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Escalada City FC's Pastor Noriega tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Atlético River Plate's Ruben Jayvier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Quiroga in the 22nd minute of play. Hernán Abril hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Pastor Noriega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Justin in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute Aquilino Justin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Noriega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute Eleuterio Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Noriega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Escalada City FC's Pastor Noriega got control of the ball when Aquilino Justin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Quiroga in the 85th minute of play forced Club Atlético River Plate's goalkeeper Ruben Jayvier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Escalada City FC defense, Aquilino Justin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pastor Noriega. The Escalada City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pastor Noriega should have stopped the shot. Pastor Quiroga came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruben Jayvier could save by the left post. With a little luck, Club Atlético River Plate's Ruben Jayvier got control of the ball when Pastor Quiroga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Atlético River Plate were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Escalada City FC for a fine match.
