After some careless play in the Escalada City FC defense, Fabian Rywin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pastor Noriega. The Escalada City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pastor Noriega should have stopped the shot. Pastor Noriega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Abeita, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Rywin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Escalada City FC's Pastor Noriega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Escalada City FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Escalada City FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hernán Abril hit a great ball. Modesto Curcio struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Fabian Rywin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Noriega having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Escalada City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Rywin came free, but Pastor Noriega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Ponce hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Laureano Abeita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pastor Noriega. Laureano Abeita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. 0-9 became the score in the 92nd minute when Laureano Abeita elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded 1984 Castelli Futbol left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Escalada City FC.
