In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Gaby Milito's goalkeeper Delmar Kusko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fotis Katramados's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmar Kusko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. A hard shot 15 in the game by Fotis Katramados from a close distance when the talented Delmar Kusko managed to make a qualified save. C.A. Gaby Milito's players were relieved. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind River Super Club's goalkeeper Martin Cayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by River Super Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abelardo Cedro was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A. Gaby Milito's players had a chance to rest. C.A. Gaby Milito's Abelardo Cedro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Martin Cayo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Carlos Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, River Super Club's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Tanio came free, but Martin Cayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Edgardo Tanio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Cayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, River Super Club's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Tanio came free, but Martin Cayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Kusko made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Fotis Katramados sent off a good shot on target. Fotis Katramados could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Delmar Kusko made a huge save. Delmar Kusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotis Katramados, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Fotis Katramados had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 40 played minutes River Super Club got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Daria. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andaç Işıker in the 41st minute of play forced River Super Club's goalkeeper Martin Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Cayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Tanio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. River Super Club's Martin Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andaç Işıker in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a little luck, River Super Club's Martin Cayo got control of the ball when Edgardo Tanio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 played minutes River Super Club got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Katramados. 62 minutes into the match, C.A. Gaby Milito's goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Katramados came free, but Delmar Kusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fotis Katramados in the 64th minute of play forced C.A. Gaby Milito's goalkeeper Delmar Kusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Martin Cayo managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when C.A. Gaby Milito's Edgardo Tanio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Martin Cayo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Gaby Milito's Edgardo Tanio. But to his dismay, Edgardo Tanio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Andaç Işıker kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Frank Van hoegaerde with Natalio Costante as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fotis Katramados in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Kusko saved C.A. Gaby Milito from getting behind. Natalio Costante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Cayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Roberto Silvianos short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Martin Cayo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Fotis Katramados had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. C.A. Gaby Milito's Uriel Franco was substituted for Natalio Costante. In the 91st match minute, River Super Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. Martin Cayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. C.A. Gaby Milito's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
