After a defensive mix-up in Famatina AFC's zone, Muni Forró stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Mikolas came out of the goal and Muni Forró tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Famatina AFC's Rosendo Mikolas got control of the ball when Muni Forró tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Famatina AFC's Froilan Montrell in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caricancha's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Rudolfo in the 14th minute of play forced Caricancha's goalkeeper Amado Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Muni Forró recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rosendo Mikolas. Muni Forró showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Tomás Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Famatina AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Mikolas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muni Forró. The crowd rose to their feet as Caricancha's Muni Forró slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rosendo Mikolas. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Famatina AFC's Tomás Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Rudolfo in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Astor Senio notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Famatina AFC's Rosendo Mikolas. Rosendo Mikolas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 34 minutes, Ulryk Kalemba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caricancha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulryk Kalemba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosendo Mikolas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muni Forró in the 37th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Caricancha's Marco van Nistelrooij was substituted for Astor Senio. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Montrell was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco van Nistelrooij in the 59th minute of play forced Famatina AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Mikolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco van Nistelrooij in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Mikolas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muni Forró in the 64th minute of play forced Famatina AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Mikolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Famatina AFC's Rosendo Mikolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco van Nistelrooij in the 66th minute of play. Rosendo Mikolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muni Forró, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Gamus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Rudolfo in the 75th minute. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Elias Rudolfo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the Caricancha defense, Tomás Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amado Gamus. The Caricancha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Gamus should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Elias Rudolfo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 90 minutes, Ulryk Kalemba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caricancha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulryk Kalemba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Muni Forró had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosendo Mikolas. Famatina AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Muni Forró was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Caricancha's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
