Spectators: 7703 (Terracing: 5779, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Froilan Montrell made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd match minute, Famatina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Montrell to maneuver through the defense. River Super Club were furious when Nils-Erik Röd was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for River Super Club! Rosendo Mikolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poli Valente in the 11th minute of play. Poli Valente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Mikolas having to make a save. Rosendo Mikolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Pirro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match River Super Club got a corner. Famatina AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruno Artaldo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Israel Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Montrell in the 37th minute of play forced River Super Club's goalkeeper Martin Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, River Super Club's Poli Valente dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Pirro to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Carlos Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Super Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Pirro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Mikolas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, River Super Club's goalkeeper Martin Cayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Montrell. 62 minutes into the match, Carlos Pirro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Famatina AFC's Rosendo Mikolas. Rosendo Mikolas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute Tomás Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Cayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Cayo made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Elias Rudolfo sent off a good shot on target. If Carlos Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. River Super Club's Martin Cayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save River Super Club from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Famatina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Pirro came free, but Rosendo Mikolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Rudolfo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Sigvard Asmundsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Super Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Federico De Leonardis hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the River Super Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
