The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flan Mixto FC's Raimundo Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Errando in the 9th minute of play. Victorio Bartoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecilio Martinez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Bilbo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Flan Mixto FC got a corner. Athletic Bostero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celestino Iruinea ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cecilio Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Bilbo in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar in the 27th minute of play forced Flan Mixto FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Athletic Bostero were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Flan Mixto FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angel Frutos took the corner. A collision led to Flan Mixto FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Urbano Iruinea hit a great ball. After 33 minutes of play, Athletic Bostero's Eduardo Errando made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Dorio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 3-0 became the score in the 36th minute when Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cecilio Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Bilbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 44 minutes, Fernando Bilbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flan Mixto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Bilbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Santin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Dorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Flan Mixto FC's Luciano Santin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Martinez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Dorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Santins short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Cecilio Martinez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A nice corner shot did that Celestino Iruinea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cecilio Martinez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 67 minutes into the match, Athletic Bostero's goalkeeper Cecilio Martinez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Santin. Eduardo Errando kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Luciano Santin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flan Mixto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Santin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Flan Mixto FC booed when Athletic Bostero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Errando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Athletic Bostero's Cecilio Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Athletic Bostero from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar in the 90th minute of play forced Flan Mixto FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cecilio Martinez made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Luciano Santin sent off a good shot on target. Flan Mixto FC's Luciano Santin got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Athletic Bostero's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
