Gaby Milito's Delmar Kusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Izquierdo in the 20th minute of play. Edgardo Tanio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Natalio Costante made a precise shot to the right of Silvio Bazil. Martin Palermo F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, C.A. Gaby Milito's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Manni came free, but Delmar Kusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Tanio in the 28th minute of play forced Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvio Bazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Bazil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Tanio's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Karl Holmberg charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Holmberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.A. Gaby Milito booed when Martin Palermo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Apolo Onbera ran over to the corner to take the kick. C.A. Gaby Milito's Apolo Onbera was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silvio Bazil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Serafin Manni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Guillermo Izquierdo made the kick off in the second half. Silvio Bazil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Costante in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, C.A. Gaby Milito's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Wallgren came free, but Delmar Kusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaby Milito's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Delmar Kusko as he didn't even see the shot coming. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Danilo Perfecto was substituted for Karl Holmberg. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 78th minute, but Delmar Kusko got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving C.A. Gaby Milito hanging dry this time. C.A. Gaby Milito were furious when Apolo Onbera was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Delmar Kusko, was totally fooled by Martin Palermo F.C.'s Serafin Manni, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Edgardo Tanio came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the C.A. Gaby Milito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Tanio couldn't finish the play. After 91 minutes Martin Palermo F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abelardo Cedro who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Abelardo Cedro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silvio Bazil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Tanio in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Bazil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Martin Palermo F.C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Serafin Manni hit a great ball. Silvio Bazil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Tanio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. Gaby Milito's Delmar Kusko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Gaby Milito from getting a goal against them. Delmar Kusko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Izquierdo's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. Gaby Milito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serafin Manni was slow to take the kick. During this time Martin Palermo F.C.'s players had a chance to rest.
