When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Alvaro Lartaun put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leonardo Loi. 16 minutes into the match, Aureliano Anaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Egoitz. Islas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Anaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Alvaro Lartaun scored 1-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Loi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonardo Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Eleder in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Lartaun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Loi was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Benito Eleder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Loi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Alvaro Lartaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Islas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
