But to his dismay, Elpidio Frutos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Vidal in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Lamberto saved Triunvirato FC from getting behind. CLUB ATLETICO DONO's Aquiles Soter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Rios in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Vidal in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Lamberto saved Triunvirato FC from getting behind. Cayetano Cefero hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Adolfo Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Soter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Gora in the 43rd minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO DONO's goalkeeper Aquiles Soter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Frutos was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO DONO's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Gora came free, but Aquiles Soter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artemio Lamberto came out of the goal and Erubiel Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Triunvirato FC's Artemio Lamberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Vidal in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, CLUB ATLETICO DONO's Aquiles Soter got control of the ball when Elpidio Frutos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elpidio Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Soter having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Triunvirato FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
