Società Vigata Calcio's Luis Abramovich managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gualterio Gauargi in the 40 minute of the game. Gualterio Gauargi's late challenge caught a Società Vigata Calcio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Gauargi helped the player get up and apologised. Gualterio Gauargi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Hansson in the 45th minute of play forced Fervent Stalkers's goalkeeper Martin Abadia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Hansson in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Larpe got free with Martin Abadia in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fervent Stalkers's Anacleto Rozarius got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saverio Bilbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Rudolfo in the 63rd minute of the match. After 66 minutes Fervent Stalkers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carter Picozzi who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Società Vigata Calcio's Ruben Astigar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Jonny Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Società Vigata Calcio's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonny Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Abadia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Società Vigata Calcio's Vito Corleone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Abadia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fervent Stalkers's Martin Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Hansson in the 77th minute of play. Jonny Hansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Abadia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonny Hansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Vito Corleone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Martin Abadia made a huge save. The Fervent Stalkers support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
