Jorge Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Rio in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Betelgeux FC got a corner. Quitilipi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Gora to make the kick off. The Betelgeux FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quitilipi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
