CACYFA's Luis Quirce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save CACYFA from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute Adolfo Jorrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Sanchez-Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, CACYFA's Xu Feng Wei seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Xu Feng Wei the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CACYFA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Xu Feng Wei had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estrella de Boedo's goalkeeper Luciano Sanchez-Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicolas Elixio's late challenge caught a CACYFA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Elixio helped the player get up and apologised. 17 minutes into the game, one of Estrella de Boedo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Czornomaz in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Czornomaz in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Sanchez-Garcia saved Estrella de Boedo from getting behind. The CACYFA fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when CACYFA's Adrian Czornomaz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Gaúcho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrella de Boedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CACYFA the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Estrella de Boedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Jorrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Sanchez-Garcia having to interfere. Higinio Cordeara kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Czornomaz in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Ronaldo Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Jorrin in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, CACYFA's Adolfo Jorrin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Jorrin's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Estrella de Boedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Dónaldur Trumpf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Quirce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd match minute, CACYFA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Safet Jovanović to maneuver through the defense. CACYFA's Luis Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Gaúcho in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 played minutes Estrella de Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Rosales. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Romeo Sanduru. In the 67th minute of the match Safet Jovanović shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Sanchez-Garcia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70th match minute, Estrella de Boedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Mateo to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Estrella de Boedo's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Czornomaz came free, but Luciano Sanchez-Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Czornomaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Sanchez-Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Adolfo Jorrin notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Estrella de Boedo's Luciano Sanchez-Garcia. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CACYFA's Alfredo Emeterio was substituted for Adrian Czornomaz. CACYFA made a substitution. Angelino Chico replaced Adolfo Jorrin. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Chico's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. CACYFA were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Estrella de Boedo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Romeo Sanduru took the corner. Romeo Sanduru made a great header on CACYFA's corner, it was just that Estrella de Boedo's Luciano Sanchez-Garcia managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 84th minute, Gogo Mateo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dónaldur Trumpf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Quirce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Atilano Jerico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Ronaldo Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ronaldo Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Estrella de Boedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. CACYFA's Luis Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Gaúcho in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to CACYFA getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Benigno Amor hit a great ball. The Estrella de Boedo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CACYFA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
