An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Oriol in the 9th minute of play forced Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Senon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michaël Myers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Jacinto having to interfere. Bonifacio Senon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Oriol in the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Oriol in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Senon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Oriol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bonifacio Senon was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Azulgranas AFC's zone, Godofredo Oriol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Senon came out of the goal and Godofredo Oriol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Grox Team F.C. defense, Michaël Myers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mané Jacinto. The Grox Team F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mané Jacinto should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Olayo in the 29th minute of play forced Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Senon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Grox Team F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Garikoitz to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Grox Team F.C.'s goalkeeper Mané Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michaël Myers. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michaël Myers to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Oriol in the 55th minute of play forced Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Senon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godofredo Oriol might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bonifacio Senon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godofredo Oriol ran back to his position shaking his head. Azulgranas AFC's Bonifacio Senon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Azulgranas AFC from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Azulgranas AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Vettel was slow to take the kick. During this time Grox Team F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Grox Team F.C.'s corner Godofredo Oriol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bonifacio Senon quite easily take care of the ball. Godofredo Oriol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Bonifacio Senon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mané Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michaël Myers, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Azulgranas AFC got a corner. Grox Team F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Radomir Naskrent ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Azulgranas AFC's Gaudencio Ugaitz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Grox Team F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
