Nicolas Patiño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Elivareo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Nicolas Patiño might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Elivareo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Patiño ran back to his position shaking his head. When Nicolas Patiño came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Club Pucará fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Patiño couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute Nicolas Patiño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Elivareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Levi Ackerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 minutes, Nicolas Patiño made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side.
