POCASPULGAS's Rafal Leszczynski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save POCASPULGAS from getting a goal against them. POCASPULGAS's Abelardo Montiel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aaron Chesus, made in the 15th minute of the game. Charly Alcaraz took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Mon. Damaso Mon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jóann Pombo struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Rafal Leszczynski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SaRaZa. After a defensive mix-up in POCASPULGAS's zone, Jóann Pombo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafal Leszczynski came out of the goal and Jóann Pombo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Cícero Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, POCASPULGAS's Rafal Leszczynski got control of the ball when Steen Kløvgaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jóann Pombo might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafal Leszczynski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jóann Pombo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st match minute, SaRaZa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steen Kløvgaard to maneuver through the defense. If Jóann Pombo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jóann Pombo came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rafal Leszczynski could save by the left post. A sloppy throw-in by Arturo Gizon in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SaRaZa's Zacarias Koldobika. 39 minutes into the game, POCASPULGAS's Charly Alcaraz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damaso Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Herrera in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, SaRaZa's Jóann Pombo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafal Leszczynski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

SaRaZa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave POCASPULGAS the free kick. In the 51st minute, Juan Cidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damaso Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Astor Herrera, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 53 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Damaso Mon was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, POCASPULGAS's goal looked a bit too open when Jóann Pombo came free, but Rafal Leszczynski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SaRaZa's Damaso Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Procopio in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute POCASPULGAS were awarded a corner. Abelardo Montiel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Juvenal Dante almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SaRaZa's Damaso Mon did a great save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Benedicto Hartz put in a rough tackle. SaRaZa made a substitution. Salvador Duarte replaced Ismael Franco. SaRaZa's Damaso Mon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save SaRaZa from getting a goal against them. A collision led to SaRaZa getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Steen Kløvgaard hit a great ball. POCASPULGAS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
