Cristian Aurre hit a great ball. Nestor Gaxan made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tomás Ilixo immediately put the ball in play. Amadeo Vistruario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Cepicó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Gol came free, but Amadeo Vistruario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Voinea in the 20th minute of play forced Cepicó FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Vistruario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Haszczak scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Martínez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Emiliano Martínez came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Cepicó FC's Marek Haszczak. But to his dismay, Marek Haszczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Maximiliano Frascuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Vistruario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Voinea in the 65th minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, Cepicó FC's Marek Haszczak made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Martínez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cepicó FC's Justino Lauro was substituted for Mauricio Cuero. Cepicó FC's Justo Mannuel got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by Nestor Gaxan with Tomás Ilixo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Justo Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Mannuel in the 91st minute of play forced Rosario Central FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Rosario Central FC's Tomás Ilixo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Amadeo Vistruario. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cepicó FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rosario Central FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
