With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Bartoleme in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariusz Koperski saved Los Gatos Rojos from getting behind. Hilario Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguito Milito in the 13th minute of the match. Ambrosio Tiniebra hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Cristian Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Goito having to interfere. After some careless play in the Los Gatos Rojos defense, Isidro Santo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariusz Koperski. The Los Gatos Rojos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariusz Koperski should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo López in the 27th minute of play forced Barranca FC's goalkeeper Hilario Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Florin kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Mariusz Koperski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Gustavo López's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Goito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
