Victor Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blai Cruz in the 7th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Blai Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Paublo was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. A hard shot 12 in the game by Blai Cruz from a close distance when the talented Victor Paublo managed to make a qualified save. Salliqueló's players were relieved. Blai Cruz struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Victor Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iluminados por El Sensei. In the 17thth minute of the game Ismael Loiola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iluminados por El Sensei's Sepp Maier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Sotero in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Paublo saved Salliqueló from getting behind. Ismael Loiola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Iluminados por El Sensei's Victor Paublo threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Ferreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Ismael Loiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salliqueló's goalkeeper Victor Paublo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute Ismael Loiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Maier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Paublo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Blai Cruz sent off a good shot on target. Melquiades Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Iluminados por El Sensei's Arnoldo Eleder was substituted for Blai Cruz. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimeno Sotero was the one to do the kick off. Melquiades Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sepp Maier having to interfere. Ulises Vistruario hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Victor Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Salliqueló's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Cordaryal was slow to take the kick. During this time Iluminados por El Sensei's players had a chance to rest. Salliqueló's Victor Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Eleder in the 63rd minute of play. Emanuel Cordara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sepp Maier having to make a save. In the 76th minute Cristian Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Ignatius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salliqueló's Victor Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Ignatius in the 85th minute of play. Cristian Ferreira scored 1-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Paublo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Melquiades Lopes struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Sepp Maier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salliqueló. Melquiades Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Sepp Maier made a huge save. Victor Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Ferreira in the 95th minute of play. Sepp Maier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Cordara's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Salliqueló players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Iluminados por El Sensei.
