Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Micael, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosme Santana during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Lima FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Santana to maneuver through the defense. GUSESI's Carmelo Sanduru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anthony Di Giandomenico in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Micael made a kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lima FC's goalkeeper Anthony Di Giandomenico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd play minute Ovidio Favila came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anthony Di Giandomenico. 1-1. The supporters of GUSESI booed when Lima FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Admon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Ovidio Favila could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Anthony Di Giandomenico however easily saved by the left post. 76 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Micael came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Micael in the 78th minute of play. Ovidio Favila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Anthony Di Giandomenico made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Ovidio Favila dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anthony Di Giandomenico, 1-2. In the 85th minute GUSESI were awarded a corner. Carmelo Sanduru went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Carmelo Sanduru almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lima FC's Anthony Di Giandomenico did a great save. With a little luck, Lima FC's Anthony Di Giandomenico got control of the ball when Ovidio Favila tried to sneak it across the goal line.
