Rabelani Thebile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Evarado in the 5th minute of the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Ermengol Padro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lanús's Manuel Neuer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rabelani Thebile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hugo Guib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Puch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Guib having to make a save. Manuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sesto Imperiale in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Ermengol Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnes Crawford in the 17th minute of play forced Lanús's goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lanús's Manuel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnes Crawford in the 18th minute of play. Roberto Puch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hugo Guib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lanús were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Cerati por Siempre's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jake Hursey took the corner. Cerati por Siempre's Hugo Guib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabelani Thebile in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerati por Siempre's goalkeeper Hugo Guib, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Roberto Puch notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cerati por Siempre's Hugo Guib. Hugo Guib was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lanús's Manuel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermengol Padro in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sesto Imperiale in the 42nd minute of play forced Lanús's goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Cerati por Siempre's Hugo Guib got control of the ball when Roberto Puch tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Lanús's Roberto Puch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Guib narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Natalio Cloyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Puch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermengol Padro to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Eloy Gaskon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lanús fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 57th minute Eloy Gaskon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Guib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lanús's Eloy Gaskon got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Lanús's goalkeeper Manuel Neuer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Evarado. Rabelani Thebile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Guib having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cerati por Siempre defense, Eloy Gaskon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Guib. The Cerati por Siempre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Guib should have stopped the shot. Lanús's Eloy Gaskon got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 minutes, Txindoki Maja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cerati por Siempre and the Lanús players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Cerati por Siempre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txindoki Maja to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermengol Padro in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Lanús's Manuel Neuer got control of the ball when Candido Evarado tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 77 minutes, Eloy Gaskon made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cerati por Siempre's Hugo Guib tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Gaskon in the 81st minute of play forced Cerati por Siempre's goalkeeper Hugo Guib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Cerati por Siempre's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Gaskon came free, but Hugo Guib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lanús's Jake Hursey was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo Guib in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Lanús's Rabelani Thebile got a free kick in the 85th minute. Lanús's Rabelani Thebile quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Natalio Cloyo, made in the 88th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Eloy Gaskon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Guib was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Eloy Gaskon's late challenge caught a Cerati por Siempre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eloy Gaskon helped the player get up and apologised. Eloy Gaskon hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Cerati por Siempre's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
