LTA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaudencio Errolan in the 19th minute. The corner led LTA FC's Gaudencio Errolan to fire away a dangerous shot which Danilo Aires despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Danilo Aires made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Edgar Parajewski sent off a good shot on target. Margarita's Danilo Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Giménez in the 24th minute of play. Rigoberto Bernal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Ebardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After 31 minutes LTA FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rigoberto Bernal who took care of the corner kick. Margarita's Yahya Ongu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dalmacio Ebardo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. LTA FC's Dalmacio Ebardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Mon in the 38th minute of play. When Margarita's Rigoberto Bernal in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Parajewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Mon in the 56th minute of play forced LTA FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Ebardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Evelio Medardo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Margarita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Medardo couldn't finish the play. Dalmacio Ebardo made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Luciano Mon sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to LTA FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cristobal Millrick hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Evelio Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margarita's supporters rose to their feet, but Evelio Medardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Ebardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LTA FC's Martin Palermo was substituted for Edgar Parajewski. In the 74th minute of the match LTA FC got a corner. Margarita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaudencio Errolan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dalmacio Ebardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adan Lorencio in the 76th minute. LTA FC's Dalmacio Ebardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save LTA FC from getting a goal against them. Danilo Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Luciano Mon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dalmacio Ebardo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Yahya Ongu got a free kick in the 94th minute. Yahya Ongu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
