In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Andino Sport Club's goalkeeper Yin Qi Xuan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dilyan Uzunov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Fernando Garin suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Eztebe during the 26th minute. Andino Sport Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 40 minutes Andino Sport Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ezequiel Onbera who took care of the corner kick. 47 minutes into the match, Andino Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Patxi came free, but Yin Qi Xuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Espinillo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Fonso in the 70th minute of play forced Espinillo's goalkeeper Suárez Yasin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Patxi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Espinillo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Patxi in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yin Qi Xuan saved Andino Sport Club from getting behind. Placido Patxi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Yin Qi Xuan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Andino Sport Club's Yin Qi Xuan got control of the ball when Placido Patxi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Igor Frederik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yin Qi Xuan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Placido Patxi went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.
