In the 4th minute, Países Bajos's Camilo Artaldo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victorino Santana. Victorino Santana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Angelo Ugutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Iraido in the 8th minute of the match. Alfredo Colon kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, C.A. Aplasta's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Artaldo came free, but Victorino Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Victorino Santana made a huge save. With a little luck, C.A. Aplasta's Victorino Santana got control of the ball when Orlando Peixoto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Victorino Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ildefonso Iraido kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Tebaldo in the 27th minute of play forced C.A. Aplasta's goalkeeper Victorino Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Peixoto in the 28th minute of play forced C.A. Aplasta's goalkeeper Victorino Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Peter Dewulf recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victorino Santana. Peter Dewulf showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Peixoto got free with Victorino Santana in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victorino Santana was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Camilo Artaldo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Camilo Artaldo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Países Bajos's Peter Dewulf slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victorino Santana. That made the score 5-0 after 42 minutes of play. Pedro Petrigai's late challenge caught a Países Bajos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Petrigai helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C.A. Aplasta getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Pedro Petrigai hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camilo Artaldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Peixoto in the 52nd minute of play forced C.A. Aplasta's goalkeeper Victorino Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Tebaldo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Victorino Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Países Bajos. Victorino Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Países Bajos's Peter Dewulf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorino Santana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 67 minutes into the match, C.A. Aplasta's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Artaldo came free, but Victorino Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmacio Tebaldo made a great header on Países Bajos's corner, it was just that C.A. Aplasta's Victorino Santana managed to reach the ball for a save. Victorino Santana came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Países Bajos's Peter Dewulf. But to his dismay, Peter Dewulf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 73 minutes into the match, C.A. Aplasta's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Guillem came free, but Victorino Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Christian Pagomari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Orlando Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Peixoto in the 86th minute of play forced C.A. Aplasta's goalkeeper Victorino Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Bilbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, C.A. Aplasta's Pedro Petrigai got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Tebaldo in the 92nd minute of play forced C.A. Aplasta's goalkeeper Victorino Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Bilbo in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Países Bajos had played much better football throughout.
