If Batı Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Teodosio James got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Batı Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Benjamin Malvin made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Albino Canor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Uijtterhoven was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Malvinas Argentinas had won after a very even match.
