With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinando Buccella in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paco Zamora saved RB Chubut from getting behind. A collision led to RB Chubut getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nestor Nazario hit a great ball. Villa Mitre City's Honorato Demesio was substituted for Feliciano Fernendo. In the 39th minute, Nestor Nazario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Honorato Demesio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paco Zamora. That made the score 5-0 in the 44 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

RB Chubut made a substitution. Niles Moran replaced Andrézinho Pelé. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niles Moran to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Teobaldo Gaztea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niles Moran in the 58th minute of play forced Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Ariel Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa Mitre City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Jerrald was slow to take the kick. During this time RB Chubut's players had a chance to rest. RB Chubut's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Honorato Demesio ran over to the corner to take the kick. 67 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre City's goal looked a bit too open when Niles Moran came free, but Ariel Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Nazario kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Oihan to maneuver through the defense. Niles Moran struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ariel Ponc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RB Chubut. Aquilino Oihan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Villa Mitre City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
