After 19 played minutes Claudiu Niculescu rounded PiCaNTeS FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Gaspar Precioso kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Chimborazo A.F.C getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Esteve Urtungo hit a great ball. PiCaNTeS FC's Alfredo Otoniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save PiCaNTeS FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Messi in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Ang Jun saved Chimborazo A.F.C from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Messi to make the kick off.
