Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Español from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute Vacid Nefer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aras Sophian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Deportivo Español's Flavio Botello quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christiaan Romero, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Español from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Christiaan Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Branca del Vieja's Christiaan Romero quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of El Branca del Vieja booed when Club Deportivo Español was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 86 minutes of play, El Branca del Vieja's Silverio Tuste made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Turgut Talha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Aras Sophian successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in El Branca del Vieja's zone, Vacid Nefer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aras Sophian came out of the goal and Vacid Nefer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Club Deportivo Español booed when El Branca del Vieja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Cordara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Deportivo Español were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after El Branca del Vieja's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jose Sein took the corner. The corner led Club Deportivo Español's Jose Sein to fire away a dangerous shot which Aras Sophian despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Club Deportivo Español's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
