The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Cobra Kai defense, Dráuzio Pontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Morales. The Cobra Kai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Morales should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Fabian Urdaspal took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Eliseo Cefero to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Cobra Kai booed when Falconara Albanese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hami Öktüre didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Urdaspal got free with Eliseo Cefero in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Morales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Pontes in the 19th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Dráuzio Pontes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Morales quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th match minute, Cobra Kai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yu Xiang Zhou to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Pontes in the 31st minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cobra Kai's goalkeeper Lautaro Morales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fabian Urdaspal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Falconara Albanese's Eliseo Cefero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Falconara Albanese from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute Fabian Urdaspal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Urdaspal made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Cobra Kai's Fabian Urdaspal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliseo Cefero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Fabian Urdaspal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cobra Kai's Óli Manfredi was substituted for Fabian Urdaspal. Cobra Kai's Esteban Onbera was substituted for Ksawery Banas. Óli Manfredi might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseo Cefero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Óli Manfredi ran back to his position shaking his head. Eliseo Cefero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óli Manfredi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Óli Manfredi took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Cefero. Eliseo Cefero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Falconara Albanese made a substitution. Kaarlo Menem replaced Fulgencio Quico. Cobra Kai's Lautaro Morales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Cobra Kai from getting a goal against them. After 76 played minutes Honorio Firman rounded Cobra Kai's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. 79 minutes into the game, Aydemir Sani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cobra Kai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falconara Albanese the free kick. A collision led to Cobra Kai getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Aydemir Sani hit a great ball. In the 81st minute of the match Kenan Bozdoğan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Morales showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Goren in the 82nd minute of play forced Cobra Kai's goalkeeper Lautaro Morales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cobra Kai's Lautaro Morales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Cobra Kai from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Morales was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Kaarlo Menem capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kaarlo Menem really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 85th minute, Kaarlo Menem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falconara Albanese fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. After 87 played minutes Falconara Albanese got a freekick which was hit by Kenan Bozdoğan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óli Manfredi in the 92nd minute of play forced Falconara Albanese's goalkeeper Eliseo Cefero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cobra Kai's Óli Manfredi, in the 92nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cobra Kai. After having played for 94 minutes, Óli Manfredi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobra Kai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Óli Manfredi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Falconara Albanese had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
