Conrado Garikoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Nabar, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Precioso in the 14th minute of play forced Arquímedes's goalkeeper Jeremias Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Jaume got free with Conrado Garikoitz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arquímedes's Jeremias Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luigi Oliveira in the 17th minute of play. Domingo Librado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Conrado Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Arquímedes Ladio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Conrado Garikoitz. Arquímedes Ladio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After some careless play in the Kame Futbol Club defense, Arquímedes Ladio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Garikoitz. The Kame Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Garikoitz should have stopped the shot. Conrado Garikoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Librado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Garikoitz made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Angel Jaume sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th play minute Angel Jaume came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Conrado Garikoitz. 6-0. Angel Jaume could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Conrado Garikoitz made a huge save. Arquímedes Ladio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Conrado Garikoitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Arquímedes Ladio slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 42nd minute. Kristoffer Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some careless play in the Kame Futbol Club defense, Fernando Nabar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Garikoitz. The Kame Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Garikoitz should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Arquímedes booed when Kame Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Ted didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kame Futbol Club's Conrado Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arquímedes Ladio in the 58th minute of play. Conrado Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Jaume in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Kame Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Nabar came free, but Conrado Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, Arquímedes's Domingo Librado made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Garikoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Olayo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
