Jeremias Cordario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erling Håland in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Gaxan during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Arquímedes getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Julio Gaxan hit a great ball. Erling Håland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeremias Cordario came out and tried to block the shot, but Erling Håland slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. When Leandro Pacho came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Juguemos con el 5 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Pacho couldn't finish the play. Arquímedes Ladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Salvador Urki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Erling Håland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Pacho in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Cordario saved Arquímedes from getting behind. Jeremias Cordario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erling Håland in the 38th minute. Marciano Cristofol hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Arquímedes's Jeremias Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Monte in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Arquímedes's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Ekaitz came free, but Jeremias Cordario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Domingo Librado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Monte in the 88th minute of play forced Arquímedes's goalkeeper Jeremias Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Jorge Ekaitz made a precise shot to the right of Jeremias Cordario. Arquímedes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
